The trend has been identified by a study carried out by Enterprise Nation and Homefinder UK, which discovered that a home office can boost a property's price by thousands of pounds.

In one case, the report found a £80,000 difference in price between two similar houses in the same area. The more expensive one was equipped with a fully functional office.
