Creatives must put thinking caps on
Sole traders and freelancers working in the creative industries must use their business brains, or lose out to foreign competitors.
That's according to the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA), which told the Freelance UK website that digitalisation and globalisation will have a huge impact on the UK's reputation as a leading creative nation.
It reckons creatives need to think about developing their businesses on a "world class scale", because that's what their competitors are doing.
