A US 'musical swap shop' with rather Californian ideas is planning to bring its online idea to the UK later this year.

Lala.com wants to be a 'virtual record shop', where customers can swap or buy CDs and download music. The firm reckons it'll be a long time before actual CD sales are overtaken by downloaded music.
