The North is the place to be if you want to relocate your business... or maybe not.

Thirteen of the top 20 places in the Royal Mail's annual Business Barometer were taken by northern towns and cities, with the Wirral, Merseyside, in the number one spot. London showed very little business growth and was 93rd in the study, which ranks locations depending on the growth in their business populations.

Newcastle upon Tyne was 17th in this survey - but it came bottom of another study carried out by OMIS to determine Britain's best city to do business in.
